Dr. Tomes, a pet owner in addition to being a passionate dedicated Veterinarian. 

Dr. Joseph A. Tomes, Associate Veterinarian, was raised in a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio and attended a Liberal Arts College called West Virginia Wesleyan College there receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1988. He earned his doctorate at The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine 1992. His entire practice career has been spent in Florida. He is a member of the Executive Board of Directors at The Busch Wildlife Sanctuary and donates veterinary services to the sanctuary whenever needed. Dr. Tomes specific interests lie in canine internal medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery as well as wildlife medicine and rehabilitation. He lives in Palm Beach Gardens with his wife, two children and a plethora of creatures.
